E3 2010: THQ Confirms Darksiders 2

Posted By | On 17th, Jun. 2010

Though quite a few have suspected it, THQ today confirmed that a Darksiders sequel was in the works.

Speaking at the THQ E3 2010 Analysts Address, VP of Core Games, Danny Bilson said:

“Darksiders 2 is coming. We’ve green lit that. It’s well into production now, it’s two years out from now.

Well, at least they’re taking their time with it.

The first Darksiders was released earlier this year for the Xbox 360, PS3 and the PC. While it was met with generally positive reception, quite a few issues became glaringly obvious almost immediately after its release. Hopefully, THQ and Co will work on smoothing the creases for the sequel.
