Frontier Developments’ Elite: Dangerous still isn’t out for consoles but that’s not stopping the developer from hyping up its upcoming updates. Update 1.4 is the CQC Championship which focuses on close quarters combat between ships and will bring a more competitive element to the gameplay. Check it out below.

Elite: Dangerous was announced to be arriving first on Xbox One and it’s currently available through the Preview Program. Frontier has steadily been making improvements to the game since its initial release on PC and thus far, it’s looking good on Xbox One. The question remains as to how much longevity it will have in the long run and whether that will be influenced by the game’s eventual release on PS4.
