Turtle Rock Studios’ Evolve may have sunk without a trace but the minds behind Left 4 Dead aren’t out of the picture just yet. Job listings have appeared indicating a “cutting edge” and “unannounced new IP” that the studio is working on.

The listing for animation programmer stated that, “We are searching for an exceptional programmer to help us in developing unique and stunning characters for an unannounced, cutting-edge game targeting next generation hardware.” So it seems a given that it’s coming to PS4 and Xbox One.

Other listings that emerged for the unannounced new IP include narrative director and senior rendering programmer for PS4, Xbox One and PC. There are a number of other positions that can be seen here.

Has Turtle Rock moved away from the multiplayer-focused experiences of old or will it be making a new effort to live up to Left 4 Dead‘s success? We’ll find out in the coming months so stay tuned for more details.
