F1 2014 Takes To The Circuit With A Hot Lap

Codemasters have released their first Hot Lap video for F1 2014 and aside from a very slight slip up at 00:54 (tried to accelerate to soon!) it’s just cool as you would expect it to be. Hot Lap is the first showcase of the turbocharged cars and how they are portrayed in the game. One major distinction that should be readily apparent to players is the new low notes that the cars are spitting out thanks to the new power units found inside. You can hear it all kick off around the 00:31 point of the video.

F1 2014 will feature all the tracks from the 2014 calendar and all these circuits have been remade with the usual love and care that you’ve no doubt come to expect from Codemasters. Three tracks will be making their debut appearance in F1 2014, The Bahrain circuit, The Sochi Autodrom and The Spielberg Circuit.

Gamers can get their hands on F1 2014 on October 17th on Xbox 360, Microsoft Windows and PlayStation 4, but don’t forget to keep your eyes peeled for the next Formula 1 title in 2015 when it makes the jump to 8th Gen hardware.
