Fallout 4: Baseball Bat And Chinese Officer’s Sword Found In Creation Engine

Fallout assets are alive and well inside Skyrim.

Some Fallout assets and files have been found lurking in the recesses of the Creation Engine that can be found at the heart of Skyrim. The assets were found out by Youtube user Mr Matty Plays. The files and assets aren’t just generic things that seem to have been plopped in for testing measures, rather they appear to be either the remnants of things from the past, or a sign of things to come.

Both the Baseball Bat and Chinese Officer’s Sword are thought to have been located there as well as console commands that will actually bring up script in relation to the iconic little arm mounted computer, the PipBoy. These command lines show that the PipBoy could be used and even tuned, likely to other radio stations. This may of course be left over from Fallout 3, but as Mr Matty Plays points out, why would they have left it in there in the first place?

What this means, if anything, is unclear. It could be, and probably is, nothing. But it’s yet more information for theorists to work with, and that’s not entirely a bad thing. Bethesda has an E3 press conference in June so hopefully things will get clear there. Rumors suggest that Bethesda will be showing off Dishonored 2, Doom 4 and yes, you guessed it right…Fallout 4.
