Have you explored all there is to explore of the surface of Fallout 4 and always wonder what’s going on under the water? Well wonder no more. Turns out the answer to that question is … not much. One Redditor, known as Lavonicus had actually attempted to recruit a number of other users to help in the task of mapping the entire underwater world in the game.

Having failed to get anyone else remotely interested in the project, he went ahead and did it himself. While the effort is something that truly deserves quite a few plaudits, what is under the water is pretty underwhelming. The project now has more than 100 pages of photos that were taken of various finds and scenery down there and the underwater isn’t completely bereft of things to do. There are a few chests and vaults to crack, but there aren’t any secret missions of hideaways under the waves.

We can only guess at just how long it took to explore the entire ocean and the other bodies of water that are dotting the landscape in this world. Bethesda has gone to great lengths to make it feel as though this is a living, breathing world and it appears that detail has been extended to the areas under the sea. We’ve put a few of the pictures found but if you want to check out the entire gallery of photographic evidence, you’ll want to check out his Imgur page. Check out some of the photos and let us know if you’ve seen these things when you’ve explored the world of Fallout 4.
