Far Cry 4 Trailer Invites You to Survive Kyrat or Die Trying

That big white tiger is here to ruin your day.

So in case you didn’t know already, generally speaking you don’t want to be in the same region as a Far Cry setting. It’s just not going to end well for anybody involved. Especially the wildlife or those of you with distinct personalities. Those two things are often actively targeted.

Ubisoft’s latest trailer is probably their best so far amongst the wash of Far Cry 4 nonsense currently doing the rounds. Let me just point you to 0:27 of the video. It may be media 101 to use focus shots like this, but doesn’t that shot (coupled with the rather fantastic rendition of I Will Survive) just scream foreboding? Following it with explosions and mysterious panning shots and angry looking critters and drum beats of gunshots is just excellent. An killer animal friends looks like a very real possibility. And I think that’s just straight up awesome. 1:09 is one such moment of awesome.

What did you lot think of the trailer? Let us know below.
