Far Cry 5 Artwork Revealed, Confirms Modern Setting And Hints At Plot Points

This ought to be interesting...

Far Cry 5‘s full reveal is later this week, but Ubisoft has gone ahead and shared some key artwork for the game ahead of that. This artwork confirms that the game is set in modern times (and is not a western, as the rumors around the game suggested that it might be).

More interestingly, it seems like a cult may factor into the plot of the game. It would at least fit in with the setting of the game. Earlier there were rumors that the next Far Cry will have a wild west setting, thereby making it a direct competitor to Red Dead Redemption 2. However, those rumors turned out to be false as the game is set in Montana.

We will know more about Far Cry 5 come later this week, and we will keep you posted on it all. Far Cry 5 is due for the PS4, Xbox One and PC and is releasing later this year. Stay tuned to GamingBolt, and let us know what you think of this artwork in the comments section below.
