Far Cry Primal

Still curious about taking the plunge with Ubisoft’s Far Cry: Primal? A new video has emerged showcasing the game running on Xbox One and you can judge for yourself just how the gameplay works. The footage also includes the game’s opening cutscene.

Far Cry: Primal takes much different approach from previous games by going back to the Stone Age. There are no guns and you’ll need to craft weapons. Hunting your prey and hauling their carcass back to camp has a chance to invite other predators, thus endangering your tribe. Oh, you also have a tribe now and it’s up to you to protect them from harm, like enemy tribes of cannibals and fire worshipers.

Far Cry: Primal will be heading to Xbox One and PlayStation on February 23rd while the PC version is out on March 1st. What are your thoughts on the first hour of gameplay? Let us know in the comments below.
