Final Fantasy XIV Black Shroud Gameplay Trailer Released by Square Enix

Isn't that good?

Square Enix has released a new trailer for Final Fantasy XIV which shows how smoothly the game runs, and you can see in the video it’s an alpha version of the game. There’s not much action here other than people running and exploring the map, which is beautifully rendered and combined with the music which gives a pleasant feeling.

The Black Shroud are is shown later in the video and it looks pretty gloomy for my tastes but well designed too. I am not seeing much recycled textures here but considering the video came from Square Enix themselves, they could have simply not showed all those parts. After all the game could not have changed drastically compared to the the original version.

However, Square Enix do seem determined and if the PS3 version runs well, they should be able to gain a decent userbase considering this video was pretty good.
