Bungie has massive plans for Destiny- an MMO FPS universe and game that they plan to keep going for the next ten years. It’s a big deal, and its release will be a big event later this year. But that’s not all that the game will be getting this year, as Bungie announced today, taking the stage at Sony’s Gamescom showing, that Destiny’s first expansion pack, The Dark Below, will be available in December this year.

Welp.

There was also a brand new trailer for Destiny shown, which showcased its multiplayer modes, including Rumble, Crash, and Salvage. You can check out the new trailer above.

Destiny is due out later this year for the Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation 4, with loads of exclusive content planned for the PlayStation versions. As of right now, no PC or Wii U versions of the game have been announced.

Stay tuned to GamingBolt for more Destiny and Gamescom coverage.
