Warner Bros’ streaming application Flixter is now available on Xbox Live Marketplace. Consumers can rent or buy movies, look at movie reviews and check cinema times through their Xbox,

Microsoft’s ‘Major Nelson’ pointed out particular features of Flixter

  • Buy or rent standard and high definition movies
  • Browse current movie listings in theatres near you
  • Peruse new and upcoming DVD releases
  • Watch high quality movie trailers
  • Access movie details, including film posters, synopses and Rotten Tomato scores
  • Easily sort and watch movies from your UltraViolet movie collectiom
  • Navigate using voice and gesture controls with Kinect for Xbox 360

People can also access to Flixter’s UltraViolet movie collection. This application is now available on Xbox Live Marketplace at no cost and is only available to Gold Subscribes of Xbox Live.
