Horizon: Zero Dawn

Yager may not be working on Dead Island 2 anymore, having split with Deep Silver on the project but its former director Bernd Diemer has already found a new project. Diemer announced on Twitter that he’s joined Guerrilla Games to work on Horizon: Zero Dawn, the Killzone developer’s upcoming open world action RPG. His role hasn’t been revealed yet however.

Horizon: Zero Dawn is arguably one of the biggest games coming out on the PS4 next year (behind Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End) so this is a pretty strong win for Diemer’s profile. The game was recently showcased at Tokyo Game Show 2015 but there’s still plenty about the game we’re yet to find out, including its exact scale and other mechanics.

What are your thoughts on Diemer joining Guerrilla for Horizon: Zero Dawn? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below and stay tuned for more information in the coming months.
