Game4U, one of the few specialized and dedicated games retailers in India, is expanding its retail footprint in the Indian city of Mumbai by opening a new store in Thane at the Vivanta Mall. This newest store is the tenth Game4U in the country, making the retailer the biggest dealer of specialized games hardware, software, and services in the country currently.
Announcing the launch Mr. Jayont Sharma, Chairman and CEO of the Milestone Interactive Group said, “We are delighted to open our Game4u store at Thane’s newest premier shopping destination,’ Viviana Mall’ which is also a current leading hub for the youth of Thane. We looked at Thane as an expansion given the current youth population of this sector supported by higher purchasing power, thus expanding our customer base in the catchment.”
“With the recent unveiling of next – gen consoles, it has rejuvenated our belief in the future of console gaming and I continue to remain a firm believer in its growth potential in India, thus our urgent thrust on expanding Game4u’s retail footprint. ” added Mr. Sharma.
India is currently one of the fastest growing markets for console gaming worldwide; an expanded retail presence for games hardware and software will only help speed up the growth.
