Gears of War 3 – EVERYTHING CARRIES OVER

Good news and maybe bad news for some, everything will be carrying over from Gears of War 2 to Gears of War 3.  If you have a golden hammerburst, you will have it in Gears 3.  Everything from the Beta will carry over but most of all the goodies you will get in Gears of War 3 will be based on the Achievement you have for the previous game.  Reaching rank 100 in Gears 2 seemed to be a big one in the MTV Article with Rod Fergusson, but would not go into details.  This includes Gears for the PC as well so I suppose it is a good thing I have attained every achievement in Gears of War 1, 2 and Gears of War for the PC… can you tell I’m a fan?  Regardless, I can confirm what you get for what achievement once the game is released for the Xbox 360 on September 20th, if it is not announced before then.  Check out all our Gears of War 3 coverage here.  Time to make sure you have to original ‘Seriously’ Achievement children.
