Motiga’s upcoming third person arena shooter, Gigantic, will be coming to Xbox One, the developer announced today. The game will serve as a key launch title for Xbox One, and, in keeping with Microsoft’s newly announced Windows 10/Xbox One Cross Buy initiative, it will be bringing Xbox One owners along for the ride as well.

‘A competitive game like Gigantic thrives when lots of people try it, and now we have the resources to bring Gigantic to more gamers faster and in a higher-quality fashion than Motiga could have ever done alone. We’ll be translating the game into more languages and hosting matches on more servers spread around the globe. That means you get a high-fidelity competitive online experience: better ping times for you and your teammates,’ the developers said.

They also confirmed that they are getting Microsoft’s expertise with both platforms, praising Windows 10 as a gaming OS, and assuring us the Xbox One version will not be a watered down, compromised port.

Gigantic is, obviously, currently very early in development, so we can’t say more about it yet. Stay tuned to GamingBolt, though, and we will keep you posted.
