God of War 3 Director in Love with Dante’s Inferno

Posted By | On 22nd, Feb. 2010

You would be and maybe should be surprised to learn that the God of War 3 director, Stig Asmussen, loves Dante’s Inferno.  Or that is what we have learned from the UK Official PlayStation magazine where Mr. Asmussen said the following:

“We’ve been intrigued about Dante’s Inferno. This is my favourite genre, and the more people that are making [these games] the better, and this is a really rich story they’re building on, it’s very interesting. The day that the demo came out we were trying to download it on PSN at midnight. We all wanted to see it”

This should be of no surprise considering imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.

Thanks, CVG.
