God of War: Ascension Concept Art Shows the Evolution of Megaera

The six legged Fury has had quite the evolution.

SCE Santa Monica has a tough task on its hands with God of War: Ascension. Then again, with a fool-proof franchise like God of War, why worry? Because this will be the first title to feature multiplayer and the developer is working extra hard to make sure it doesn’t feel tacked on. At least the single player is more or less wrapped up, as concept art for one of the three deadly sisters Megaera shows.

Described as the epitome of power, grace, and violence, the six legged Megaera is a Fury, one of three who act as bounty hunters for the Gods. Think of them as repo men…er, women who seek out those who go back on their oaths.

Megaera can also use parasites within her body that can burst out and attack her enemies. The concept art, posted on the God of War Facebook page, showcases the different designs the developer had in mind for her along with the final choice and her in-game appearance.
