Grand Theft Auto 5 For PC, PS4 And Xbox One: Will Rockstar Show It At E3?

A matter of speculation before E3 kicks in.

Rockstar are not big on E3. To be honest, they don’t need any video game conventions or expos to announce their next big thing. If you look back at their history, Rockstar have traditionally never attended E3.  But then again, they are working on a game that will be due before the current fiscal year ends before March 2015.

Rockstar normally takes their time with new IPs, not to mention the extremely long marketing and advertising campaigns they run. They can’t possibly release a new game in a matter of 9 months and that too without any publicity. I admit they are a popular company and people will buy their products regardless of whether they do any extra promotional activities. In short, Rockstar will release a game and it won’t be a new IP or Red Dead Redemption 2. It will most likely be GTA 5 for the PS4, Xbox One and PC.

Given that there is so less time for a new IP to be promoted and released, GTA 5 for the new systems and PC is probably going to be announced at this year’s E3. However we are not sure where this announcement will happen. It could potentially happen at Sony’s press event given that the PS3 was the lead platform for GTA 5 but you never know.

In the past we have reported that GTA 5 for PC and new consoles will happen at some point, with Michael Pachter stating that it will definitely be released on PC.
