Rockstar Games has released four new screenshots for Grand Theft Auto V, showcasing various aspects of gameplay such as outrunning cops, swimming underwater with the benefit of a mini-sub and, well, jacking a car. Because a game called GTA needs some GTA.

The open world action adventure title is releasing worldwide on September 17th for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Rockstar has showcased a ton of new details about the game including the three man heists, large array of new activities, dynamic new NPCs and the skills of the respective protagonists.

This of course doesn’t include boasting the largest collection of vehicles and weapons in the series’ history, along with car customization details, purchasing property and a whole new range of activities. It will also feature new cover mechanics and over the shoulder shooting for the more chaotic sequences.

Head here and here for our full information blow-outs on just what to expect when GTA V releases this year.
