The campaign prologue town can be accessed on GTA Online via a small glitch.

Remember the North Yankton area seen in Grand Theft Auto 5’s prologue, which originally served as the home turf for Trevor and Michael? Thanks to a glitch in GTA Online, players have found a way to access the town. CVG first reported this glitch (and you can view a video of the same there), but it’s not too hard to access.

You’ll need version 1.07 of the game and have to reach the point in the prologue where you’re escaping the bank through the garage and taking on the cops. Exit to the left, pause your game and have a friend invite you into their game on GTA Online. You’ll then need to get a chopper and fly to the bottom-most right part of your screen. You should be able to make out some floating mountains – beyond that is North Yankton. From there, you can explore the town and even have other players join you there.

Best glitch ever or just another issue for Rockstar to correct? Visit it soon before it gets patched, is what we have to say and let us know about any hijinks you get up to while there in the comments.
