Half Life 3 Referenced by Honest Trailers in Portal Review

Half Life 3 confirmed?

Posted By | On 29th, Jun. 2014

No, sadly Half Life 3 has not been confirmed and it seems will not be confirmed in this generation. That being said, that hasn’t stopped people like Honest Trailers from wanting it…in a trailer for Portal.

On the flipside, the trailer does highlight just how much fun Portal looked when we initially played it. It’s certainly worth a revisit for its quirky characters, excellent writing, awesome mechanics and unique sense of humour. But it’s also worth a visit because quite frankly, many of the big budget games that have released this year – like Watch Dogs – just plain suck.

As for Half Life 3, Valve Software has said time and time again that it has no clear vision for the game, which is currently in bits and pieces at the studio. The developer is currently focused on getting SteamOS, Steam Machines and its Steam Controllers off the ground, which have themselves run into severe issues. What are your thoughts?
