Even if isn’t in-game, Halo 5: Guardians has finally received a file browser for Forge maps. Head on over to Halo Waypoint to try it out.

A file browser has pretty much been in demand since Forge was released since it allows players to check out the different maps and modes created with it and to bookmark their favourites. It’s also possible to find screenshots and game clips from other players and to search the map by name, game mode and creator name. Bookmarking maps also ensures they’re queued for download when you next play Halo 5: Guardians.

If you’re a heavy Forge user or just like to follow the community’s latest creations, this is a great way to get started. Sharing new features between Forge creators is definitely a lot easier now than before when you needed the user’s name, to add them and other assorted nonsense in order to download the map they created.

What are your thoughts on the new file browser? Let us know in the comments below.
