We’re just a couple of days away from finally seeing the release of Halo 5: Guardians and as we draw closer to the title being on store shelves, 343 Industries is doing a bit of a victory lap. The company recently placed a post on its official website where it laid out the journey the company has taken to get to this point. The company made it clear that it is not resting on its laurels as it approaches release day. In fact, things are quite hectic, according to 343.

“Halo 5: Guardians is the biggest and our most ambitious Halo title to date,” the company recently wrote and early previews seem to indicate that the finished product has made all the work worth it. Bonnie Ross has recently come front and center as we get closer to the release, after largely being in the shadows while the game was under development. She was the author of the post expressing how excited the team is with this particular project.

“As I sat in our studio meeting yesterday, with my now empty champagne cup, listening to Josh reflect on his team and the game they’ve built; and Frank talk about his franchise team, the story they weaved, the toys, HCS esports, the community; and Kiki talk about the Halo Channel and Waypoint integration with Halo 5, our new Spartan Companies feature, and the new animated feature for The Fall of Reach; I found myself getting a little teary” One can certainly forgive Ross for being rather emotional. She has been anointed as the person who could save the Xbox One and this game, when it launches will be a big lynchpin in the console’s strategy moving forward. Halo 5: Guardians finally launches exclusively for the Xbox One on October 27, 2015

    Halo 5 will dominate

Seems like a good game. Many are saying it’s better than Halo 4 which is a good sign.

However, I’ve read that it only has a six hour campaign. If that is true, I wonder what all of those Microsoft fanboys think after they hated on The Order 1886. Hopefully Halo 5’s multiplayer maps are fun enough to replay.

That’s scary as hell…I hope u heard wrong.

    • XbotMK1

That is what I read on Neogaf from people who supposedly got the game early and a person from VG Chartz stated something similar that it took him/her about 6 hours on normal difficulty.

Maybe the majority of the budget went into mo cap, graphics, or multiplayer maps.

Lol chill dude. I always play on Legendary anyway so the AI is tougher than RuPaul. But somebody might be speed running the campaign lol. It shouldn’t be that short on normal. Anyway I give u cred for posting this.

If its coming form TrollbotMK1, one of Sonys top PS Drone Fanboys, then he is wrong. Comparing The Order 1886 to Halo 5 is enough to make anything he says wrong.

On Normal you said, talk to me on heroic or legendary. Regardless of length you are grasping at straws when comparing Halo 5, a game that has more replay ability on its campaign and multiplayer, to The Order 1886.

    • sgt_hammertime

the order was crap because it was a 5 hour campaign with NO replay value. You can’t replay the game and do something different for a different outcome, no, you are hand held all the way through with crappy AI. Multiplayer? None.

You are comparing Halo 5 to The Order 1886? LOL grasping as straws like always TrollBotMk1.

Thank you for letting me know. You saved me $60.

    • Tech junkie

Most sites state 8-12 hours, so knowing your blind hate for Xbox and Blind love for Sony, I’m skeptical.

Halo is about MP as well.

Still taking time to up vote yourself I see

    • Geoff Carlin

Took me about 6 hours on normal. Was pretty good for the most part.

      End was….. hmmmm

Mechanically the game is solid though.

  • VoidWalker

And I wont be playing it because it’s an Xbone exclusive . . . I would like to play it but I guess I can’t. way to go guys!
