Halo 5 Guardians beta size

343 Industries is still working on improving matchmaking and other issues for Halo: The Master Chief Collection but it’s also gearing up for the multiplayer beta of Halo 5: Guardians. We’ve seen various gameplay videos and heard many things about the multiplayer but this will finally be our chance to try it.

However, a listing for the beta has appeared on the Xbox Live Store (via Reddit) and it indicates the exact size of the beta: 10.27 GB. Take that for what you will but there’s no denying that it’s pretty big. Oddly enough, the release date also says that the beta begins on December 4th, despite Microsoft officially confirming that it would start on December 29th and end on January 18th 2015. So take that for what you will (with a grain of salt, essentially).

Access to the Halo 5: Guardians multiplayer beta is possible through purchasing Halo: The Master Chief Collection. What are your thoughts on the install size and date? Let us know in the comments.
