343 Industries has finally updated fans on the status of Halo 5: Guardians‘ next major update – Infinity’s Armory. As per usual, there will be new maps, new REQs – including Armour Sets and weapon skins – and a few tweaks here and there.

For the new maps, we have Riptide for Arena which is actually a reworked version of Fathom. For Warzone Assault – and to provide some impetus for players to participate in the fledgling multiplayer mode – is the Battle of Noctus. The key difference here is that one team will be assaulting an objective while the other defends it with their lives.

Meanwhile, the new Armour Sets include the Mark V Alpha, the Achilles (pictured above) and the Atlas, all which look pretty swanky. 343 Industries is also introducing increased weapon despawn timers in Warzone, meaning if you die and lose your weapon, you’ll now have 20 seconds to go back and pick it up as opposed to five seconds.

The update is in the final stages of testing and will be out this month. Which new addition are you looking forward to? Let us know in the comments.
