Halo 5’s launch is almost here – it launches tomorrow, October 27 – and to celebrate that, 343 Industries are going to have a Halo livestream tonight, which begins at 6pm Eastern Time. And if the prospect of enjoying the Halo launch with the developers and countless other fans from around the world was not enough motivation for you to want to tune in, maybe this will be- apparently, some new Halo news might be on this livestream tonight.

Xbox engineering boss Mike Ybarra wrote on Twitter: “I encourage everyone to watch Halo 5: Live. You might hear about things beyond Halo.” He also ended the tweet with a teasing winking emoticon. And when another fan asked Xbox marketing executive Aaron Greenberg if fans can expect announcements tonight about things outside of the Halo franchise, Greenberg didn’t confirm or deny anything either way, but he did that that fans should “be sure” to watch the event.

So… yeah, something big is planned. The question is, what is it? We will keep you posted when we find out. Stay tuned.

So far Halo 5 has received good reviews but not as good as I expected and certainly not as good as Microsoft fanboys were hyping it up to be. It could change but as of right now it has an 86 on metacritic which is good, but most reviewers are saying the multiplayer is it’s saving grace from it’s sh*tty single player campaign.

So far, the best reviewed first party exclusive on Xbox One is Forza 6. I certainly can’t agree with Microsoft’s claim of this being the best exclusive line up.

But I hope Microsoft fanboys like Terminator, RedDragon, GHz, Starman, Fweds, Tech Junkie, Gamerjudge, and their countless dupe accounts don’t cry. After all, there is still next holiday.

IMO It still seems like Xbox One is still waiting for greatness.
