EA’s Worldwide Music division has set up a site streaming two tracks from the upcoming sequel, Dragon Age 2. They songs are done by composer, Inon Zur and are very good in my opinion.  They can really get you in the mood and give you a feel of Dragon Age II.  This first track is the ‘Hawke Family Theme’ and the second entitled ‘Qunari On The Rise’ both at around two minutes long. Listen to them streaming right here. Dragon Age II will be out on March 8th in North America and March 11th in Europe for the Xbox 360, Playstation 3, MAC as well as the PC.

Demon’s Souls got to me before the first one. Dark Souls will take this one’s place for me as well. Nice music though. Not dark enough for my dungeon crawling taste though.

I liked what i heard from these two songs. I think it would be cool if publishers would offer to the consumer the soundtrack EVERY time they reveal a “special edition” of ANY game. Take Killzone 3 for example. when you load up that beta that you’re in the main menu, that little soundtrack is catchy and cool. here’s to all developers and publishers: Please PLEASE always include the soundtrack with special editions. Uncharted has a GREAT soundtrack! C’mon uncharted 3 special edition bring it! Aqua Out
