Having decided that they have beaten around the bush enough, Telltale Games have finally come out and decided to give us a big, meaty chunk of information pertaining to their upcoming Game of Thrones series, that kicks off later this year instead of drip feeding it to us like they have been so far. This information finally answers some of our questions, such as the platforms they are targeting, though amazingly, we still don’t have a release date for the first episode yet.

Apparently, the events in the game will be canon, will follow House Forrester, will be simultaneous with the events of Game of Thrones the TV show starting the end of Season 3 and through to the beginning of Season 5, and will see us visit King’s Landing, The Wall, and Ironrath, among other places.

The game is targeting iOS, Mac, PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One with additional platforms to be announced. Judging by precedence, those ‘additional platforms’ will probably be PlayStation Vita.
