Yesterday night GAME and gamestation hosted midnight launches across the country for the launch of the Nintendo 3DS.

In total, 482 GAME and gamestation stores opened at midnight with GAME’s flagship store in Oxford Street, London hosting a V.I.P event with comedian, gamer and Nintendo fan-boy, Iain Lee joining customers for the countdown to the moment they got their hands on the world’s first 3D gaming console.

Neil Ashurst, head of UK PR for GAME said:

“Our GAME and gamestation stores saw hundreds of gamers queue up to finally get their hands on the Nintendo 3DS. The feedback we’ve had is that the 3DS really does live up to all the expectations and we expect that to continue over the weekend as people show their friends how amazing it is.”
