Hyper Light Drifter

Heart Machine’s awesome Zelda-esque hack and slash title Hyper Light Drifter isn’t exactly the easiest walk in the post-apocalyptic park for many players. Rejoice, for it seems that you’ll have some help in the coming days.

The developer has announced that a beta for the game’s local co-op is currently live. Given that it was planned before launch but wasn’t ready in time, it’s finally available on Steam (for PC users only sadly). Head over to your library, right click on the game’s Settings, select the Betas tab and you’ll find the build “coop”. Be quick though – the beta will only be available till 1 PM EST, May 2nd.

A release date for the final build hasn’t been announced but feel free to share feedback with the studio since it will help shape the experience. What are your thoughts on Hyper Light Drifter as a whole? Let us know in the comments below.
