Jak and Daxter Collection Arriving on PS Vita – ESRB

Naughty Dog's platforming classic will be revived for Sony's handheld.

Three great Jak and Daxter games on one shiny disc? Yes please!
Ah, Entertainment Software Ratings Board. Is there anything you can’t do? The ESRB recently carried a listing of a new PlayStation Vita game, Jak and Daxter Collection.

Jak and Daxter is the series that Naughty Dog worked on before Uncharted, by the way. In case any of you thought they just magically appeared when Drake went about committing genocide.

Also, it seems we’ll be getting the first three games and not Ready At Dawn’s PSP title, Daxter. As the listing indicates, “in this compilation of three story-based platformer games”. So players can experience the whole saga of the partners, who the heck Dark Jak is anyway and why Naughty Dog is just so darned good at platformers in one place.

Currently no release date has been indicated and there are no details about who will be handling porting duties. For now, stay tuned for an official announcement from Sony Computer Entertainment in the coming days.
