Kingdom Hearts 1.5 HD Remix: Screenshots Galore Revealing Final Fantasy and Disney Cast

A huge blowout of screenshots highlights key portions of the game and its characters.

The upcoming Kingdom Hearts 1.5 HD Remix for the Playstation 3 collects the initial experience and Chain of Memories for the Gameboy Advance and gives everything a nice shiny hi-res look. However, the main appeal of Kingdom Hearts lays in the characters you meet, and the journey you undergo. In a barrage of new screenshots, players can see just where that journey will take them.

Kingdom Hearts was always famously known as “Disney meets Final Fantasy” and all of the major icons from Cloud, Sephiroth, Aeris, Selphie and Squall/Leon are all present and accounted for. Of course, the Disney characters rule the roost as players will encounter Aeriel from the Little Mermaid, Jack Skellington from A Nightmare Before Christmas, and many many more. You’ll also be able to see the Gummy Ship missions, which give a neat shooter mini-game to the experience.

Kingdom Hearts 1.5 HD Remix is scheduled to release on March 14th 2013 for Playstation 3 in Japan. North American and European release dates are to be announced soon.
