Showcased in the new combat trailer, we got to see more than a few new features for Square Enix’s upcoming Kingdom Hearts III. Famitsu has some new information on the same, and it’s been revealed that Sora will have two new skills this time around.

The first is the ability of the Keyblade to transform, which apparently changes the style of the weapon. Could that have been what we saw in the trailer when Sora utilized dual pistols to attack enemies?

The second is an evolution of Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance’s Freeflow Action. This allowed Sora to use skills associated with Disney attraction rides in the game to attack enemies. As seen in the trailer, Sora will be able to use a pirate ship and the Big Magic Mountain rides for attacking and they will apparently play a bigger part in Kingdom Hearts III. Apparently, Sora will be performing these attacks automatically.

Square Enix is also working to polish Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 Remix in comparison to its predecessor, Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 Remix. Kingdom Hearts III is currently in development for PS4 and Xbox One, with a release date to be announced.
