Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite

As promised, Capcom unveiled the first gameplay footage of Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite following the Capcom Cup at PlayStation Experience. The match showcased sees Ryu and Mega Man X taking on Captain Marvel and Iron Man. The requisite amount of special attacks, combos, juggles and whatnot are to be expected.

Keeping with the motif for the Marvel Cinematic Universe currently as it builds to Avengers: Infinity War, Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite will feature the Infinity Stones for use during gameplay. The Power Stone seems to add more damage and knockback to attacks while the Time Stone increases one’s speed and allows them to get behind enemies quicker. Nothing game breaking, which is a good thing. Morrigan and Captain America can also be seen, confirming their inclusion in the roster.

Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite is currently scheduled to release in 2017 for PS4, Xbox One and PC. What are your thoughts on the gameplay, especially with the Infinity Stones thrown in? Let us know in the comments below.
