Marvel’s Agents Of Shield Busted Stealing Mass Effect Concept Art

BioWare is taking it in their stride though.

In a story that ran recently on Eurogamer it was revealed that the Marvel superhero spin-off TV show, Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D used original concept art from a Mass Effect poster in one of their own promotional images. If you haven’t seen it, the image is clearly stolen from the Mass Effect art. There is no room for debate on the matter.

Mass Effect developers BioWare, however, have taken the incident good humor it seems. In a recent Eurogamer news update, the official statement from Aaron Flynn, the BioWare General Manager was released. He clearly has an upbeat attitude about the incident. The Tweet read:

“I eagerly await our honorary Agents of Shield badges,”

“Wait, you didn’t get your helicarrier?” responded BioWare cinematic designer John Epler.

Despite BioWare’s ideal attitude on the obviously stolen images, ABC has yet to release an official comment. Nor has EA, the company heading up publishing on the Mass Effect series. Whether or not legal action will ensue is unclear at this time.

Stay tuned to Gamingbolt for updates on the situation.
