Mass Effect 3 faces crashing issues after new patch is released

After the Mass Effect 3 patch was released yesterday, users started facing crashing issues with the game. Yeah, I know, ironic.

Reportedly, only the Xbox 360 version of Mass Effect 3 is facing this issue- with the new patch installed, the game freezes while booting, rendering it practically unplayable. No one’s complained about the PC or the PS3 versions yet, though.

BioWare says it’s “aware” of the problem, and they’re asking players to describe the exact issue so that they can start working on a fix as quickly as they can.

They have given a few temporary fixes for the time being, though- you could try changing discs, deleting unneeded data or you could boot up the game disconnected from Xbox Live. The latter has been working well for most of the people who’ve been facing this issue.
