Mass Effect Andromeda To Possibly Have Dynamic Weather Effects

Bioware is hiring a VFX Artist.

Mass Effect Andromeda

While we don’t have a ton of concrete info about what Bioware is going to be putting into Mass Effect: Andromeda, a recent job listing seems to indicate that they are looking to include dynamic weather effects in the upcoming title. Specifically, the job listing is looking for a new VFX Artist  that will be taking on a number of different responsibilities. The most important of those, when it comes to taking advantage of the game engine is that there will be dynamic weather in the game.

The actual job listing asks for someone who is able to work in areas that manages In-Game Particle Effects work, Explosions, Gunfire, Energy FX, weather effects, etc … Of course, this kind of job listing doesn’t neccesarily mean that kind of feature is definitely going to be in the game. It does hint that Bioware definitely wants to get it in there and at this point in development, it might be about as close to a sure thing as you’re going to get without confirmation.

At this point, Bioware isn’t really confirming much of anything, so we have to go off of advertisements like this. In the near future, we should be getting some more concrete information that will allow us to have a firmer grasp on what’s going into the title. We don’t have a firm release date for Mass Effect: Andromeda but it’s expected to launch during the Holiday season of 2016.
