Metal Gear Solid 5 The Phantom Pain

Though the trailer was leaked a day earlier than its official reveal, Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain still managed to impress us with its visuals and overall tone. Snake is out for revenge this time around and according to Konami, he’s made the transition to “Venom Snake” for that purpose. A helpful timeline has been revealed which runs through the various Snake codenames released till now.

Along with this, Konami released 14 new official images from the trailer including images of Mother Base, the area surrounding it, various images of Snake looking bloodied or just plain vengeful and random shots of the Diamond Dogs. Check them out below.

Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain currently has no release date but is expected to be out in 2015 for the Xbox One, PS4, PS3 and Xbox 360. What are your thoughts on the recently revealed trailer and images? Let us know in the comments below.
