E3 is almost here, and the question of what Microsoft, Sony, and Nintendo may have to reveal this year is on everybody’s minds. Microsoft is planning on making their show all about the big reveal for the Xbox Scorpio- but it looks like they may also dedicate some time to VR at their showing. At least, if Wedbush Securities analyst Michael Pachter is to be believed.

Speaking to GamingBolt, Pachter revealed that he believes that Microsoft will probably have some VR related announcements for the Scorpio. He also feels the company will be light on new IPs.

“Microsoft is most likely to announce something on the VR side with Scorpio (likely a partnership with Oculus) and a ton of games,” Pachter said. “I also expect something on Hololens.  They will probably be light on new IP, but you never know.”

Microsoft’s E3 conference is on Sunday, so we’re just a few days away from knowing what the company is planning on doing for sure. Stay tuned to GamingBolt for more coverage and information.

It seems to me that MS’s primary focus is PC more than their console users. It’s been looking that way for ages now.

MS is very big, with room for both. Gamers spend more and they know it.

In terms of gaming, it isn’t true. They are constantly releasing updates for Xbox and releasing Scropio.

Seriously questioning why they bothered to interview michael pachter doesn’t seem like much of an analyst. Seems just like that thong guy who predicted a ps5 announcement this year, glad im not paying these guys for their insight.

    • Alistein

good question perhaps it just a way for them to absolve themselves from the backlash cos this are simple predictions that are unbelievably turning out wrong.

  • This ain’t the time of day the broken clock is getting right.

Already said they are not showing VR….
