Xbox One Streaming to Windows 10

While Microsoft announced a lot of things yesterday that are going to be hugely beneficial to PC gaming, to those of you who had been expecting a major new game announcement from them for the platform- based maybe on their own teasing, or the hints and leaks that had been leading up to the event- you were probably disappointed, since the best that we got was an announcement that Fable Legends would be coming to PC (in addition to Xbox One).

But Microsoft is already assuring everyone that Fable Legends is just the start, and that they have more planned.

“Today we announced that we are bringing Fable Legends to Windows 10 PCs, day-and-date with the Xbox One version in 2015,” they said.

“This means Fable fans running Windows 10 will be able to play against their fellow gamers on Xbox One. It’s the same game, in the same world, on the same map.

“Fable Legends is just the first of the major game franchises from Microsoft Studios coming to Windows 10 and we will have more to share in the coming months.”

More major game franchises? So… Halo? Gears of War? Forza? Crackdown? Age of Empires???

I luv this. Keep a couple games on X1 true exclusive (Halo, Gears, Forza etc) and open up the not so big IPs to PC. I just don’t understand why people keep clamoring to the argument that X1 has no exclusives……well then the PS4 doesn’t either. By that defenition the WiiU has more! These studios need to survive. When will people get past their dam bias. It’s like they rather be catered to (for the sake of argument), even if those devs go out of business…..THQ etc. Oh well. The way Fable’s looking tho, I may actually buy it!

  • They pretty much handed the PS4 even more marketshare LOL. These companies are retarded I swear. The only direct competition the PS4 has is the Xbone so if it’s getting less people to buy games on it then that means PS4 is gaining those sales.
