Ubisoft has announced that the standalone expansion for Might and Magic Heroes VI, Shades of Darkness, is finally available following a short delay (it was originally supposed to release on February 28th). Developed by Black Hole Entertainment, the expansion sees many new additions to the tried and true formula.

It includes 15 new units and a reported 20 hours of gameplay, and will focus on Raelag from the previous Might and Magic Heroes game, along with a new Dungeon faction. Players will be able to access two new campaigns to satiate their urge for tactics and combat.

Shades of Darkness is available with the Might and Magic Heroes VI Complete Edition, which just recently launched as well. The complete edition includes other goodies like the game’s soundtrack along new items and maps, and adventure packs as a big bonus.

Ubisoft has also released several new screenshots for the game, to showcase some of the more flashy gameplay elements. Check them out below.
