Racing down under in Australia...

Milestone’s Gravel, their original off-road racing game, got a brand new gameplay video today. This video shows us some off-road racing down under, in sunny Australia- well, I say sunny, but really, the sun is setting since this race takes place during dusk, so there’s not much sun in here.

What you will see is some pretty good light and shadow work- as well as some excellent off-road racing action, of course. Milestone has a very specific brand of racing games, and if you like that, you are likely to enjoy what Gravel brings to the table as well.

Gravel will have multiple different kinds of racing- some more along the car combat style, and some more traditional off road racing. This video is less combative, but you at least get an idea of how the off-roading will work. Gravel is due out early next year for PS4, Xbox One, and PC- and hey, who knows, given Milestone’s teasing of persistent Switch support going forward, maybe it will come to Nintendo’s hybrid, too.
