Minecraft underwater mob

If you’ve been battling mobs on land in the Minecraft universe and thinking you’d be safe in the water, then think again. Lead developer Jens Bergensten has revealed that he is currently developing a new mob for the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC versions of the game – one that will live underwater.

Bergensten has stated that it isn’t a shark, that it was “going to be nasty, but currently doesn’t do much” and really, that’s pretty much it. A Reddit user crafted an image of what the monster could look like (seen above) but we’ll only know for sure when Mojang comes out and confirms it.

Currently, Minecraft on the Xbox One and PS4 are expected in the coming months and will allow players to transfer their worlds from previous generation versions to current gen. Are you looking forward to it? Let us know in the comments below what you think and also what the underwater mob could be like.
