Namco Bandai Teasing New Game with Smartphone-ish Site

Could be pretty much anything (as most teasers are wont to be).

Apparently Namco Bandai Games has a new title it’s teasing, for which it is has launched a brand new site. Of course, like almost all teaser sites, there’s very little indication as to what this game could be. A smartphone is pictured with three icons on the bottom of the display and one icon in the upper left corner.

And that’s it. So it could be anything from an open world title – which typically use smartphones for multiple functions in-game these days – to actually being a mobile game. It’s hard to say until more details, teasing or otherwise, are revealed.

As it is, Namco Bandai has been keeping a bit of a low profile these days. Aside from featuring in Project X Zone, with characters from its famous franchises, the company will be publishing Dark Souls 2, developed by From Software, in 2014 for PS3, Xbox 360 and PC. Nonetheless, as E3 draws nearer, surprises could be in store.
