Naruto Online

Ninjutsu fans take note – Naruto Online, an MMORPG set in the highly popular anime/manga world and licensed from Bandai Namco by Oasis Games, will be out on July 20th for PCs in Western territories.

The MMO will apparently follow the storyline of the anime and focus on its nine arcs with locations like Valley of the End and the Hidden Village of the Sand, though it’s not confirmed whether the Boruto: Naruto the Movie will be covered. Single-player and multi-player dungeons are confirmed and it also seems there will be world boss battles with a huge sense of scale.

You take control of one of five new characters with turn-based combat and it’s possible to have other characters from the Naruto universe join you. Each character has a different elemental alignment – fire, earth, water, wind and lightning – and it seems that multiple teams can fight together with different abilities by using Naruto bonds.
