Namco Bandai have released some news screenshots and info on the upcoming Dark Souls (or Demon’s Souls 2 for those who haven’t been keeping up to speed with things.)

Details have also been released about the game’s Beacon Fires system. As the game is a seamless world that is not divided into “levels” as such, players must light Beacon Fires that will act as checkpoints within the game. The Beacons will also allow you to restore life gauge energy, or share experience with other players.

From the looks of some of the enemies Dark Souls looks set to be just as tough as its predecessor.

Thanks to CVG for the info.
