Could be anything, really.

With GTA 5 being the biggest release of this year- arguably of this generation- people are bound to obsess over every single detail that we have of it so far. And that is how dedicated GTA fan “Hurrikane” of the GTAForums discovered a new, as of yet unknown, GTA 5 character- Mariachi.

Apparently, the LinkedIn profile of stand up comedian Tony Garcia had a credit listed for “GTA 5: Role of Mariachi, 2013.” The credit, which has since been removed, of course tells us nothing except for that the character will be in the game. But is he a playable character? If so, is he a secret character, or is he available like the other three playable characters? Is he just an NPC, albeit one with an important role in the story? Or is he an NPC with a couple of scenes and that’s it? It could be anything, really. We just don’t know.

We have until September before we know for sure. Meanwhile, continue obsessing over the details of the game. It makes the wait that much more exciting.
