Microsoft have just announced a new map pack for Halo: Reach, titled the defiant map pack. The maps have been made in partnership with Certain Affinity, who previously worked on Halo 2 maps and the Call of Duty: Black Ops First Strike DLC. The Defiant Map Pack will be available this March on Xbox Live for 800 Microsoft points. It will contain three new maps you can see in the video above and will have new achievements to collect worth a total of 150 gamerscore.

lmao i was done with halo after halo 3 ..is it just me or the series totally just dropped off after halo 3? everything after that was just an attempt to milk the series.

yeah it dropped off AFTER halo 3, which is why i said ODST. halo 3 was fine, but ODST killed it for me. never again.

i would be excited for the maps if i still had my xbox 360 i had a blast with reach the core game was awesome but the multiplayer had way too much going on in it. don’t get me wrong i logged a crud load of time in the game but just way too many playlists if i did get another xbox i would be picking these up and getting the new gears of war 3.

AAAaah yes the infamous Halo still trying to pull in the dough. I’m surprise people STILL would purchase DLC for this game since Black ops is out, and crysis and bulletstorm are around the corner sort of speak. Please no more Halo. Aqua Out

Why would you be surprised at all people are still playing halo 3 and purchasing map packs as we speak lol.. not a game id consider buying but its for those who stuck with halo from the start .. companies will always dish more content if its selling well or to see if consumers would purchase
