After the demo for Mortal Kombat was released for Playstation Network Plus subscribers earlier today, new gameplay footage has arrived demonstrating some full matches with fatalities and new faces for Kano and Stryker.

It certainly looks good, but the fighting mechanics seem lacking in long term depth. Only time will tell.

Certainly can’t say it doesn’t look good, thought the 2 people fighting on the bridge in the background was a really nice touch. The fatalities look really good, to be honest if we could get the MK Kollector’s Edition in the UK I’d order it tomorrow and forgo all other games for a while to have it. The game and the figures/bookends are well worth it, but knowing I can’t get that puts me off spending £40 on the game itself. I am becoming slightly more tempted with everything I see on it so you never know I may be pushed over the line yet.

does anyone know if the 360 will have a console specific character (like Kratos for the 360), I think it would be pretty awesome to fight SubZero as Noble 6 or Emile

Last time I saw Ed Boon interviewed he said there were currently no plans 4 a 360 exclusive fighter. Maybe they could do 1 as DLC? It would b cool 2 have General Raam or Marcus Fenix.

That looks sick. and @shastyxmcnasty if you want a character worthy of the MK universe, buy a PS3.
